The variety belongs to the traditional classic cultivars of the Vitis vinifera species. The berries have a white or white-green color. In agronomic literature, cases of incompatibility have been noted when grafting this grape onto certain rootstocks, in particular the 57-Ritcher rootstock.

Currently, the variety is considered rare for commercial viticulture. It is included in the lists of varieties classified for marketing as table grapes in EU countries. The variety is not an interspecific hybrid.
