The variety is characterized by vigorous growth and a semi-erect bush habit, requiring long pruning. The plant is prone to active formation of lateral shoots and shoots. The berries are blue-black in color with an intense waxy bloom and juicy colorless flesh, gathered in medium-sized cylindrical compact bunches.

A biological feature of the variety is the early coloration of the berries three weeks before the onset of technical maturity. The variety is considered hardy, resistant to major grapevine diseases and shedding of the ovaries. The autumn leaves acquire a red-violet hue.

It is used exclusively as a wine variety for the production of wines, often as part of blends, due to its ability to impart an intense color to the drink. At the moment, the variety is rare and is at risk of extinction.
