Variety description

The variety is an interspecific hybrid obtained from crossing the varieties Regent and Kozma 20-3. Its genetic composition includes genes from Vitis amurensis, Vitis berlandieri, Vitis rupestris, and Vitis vinifera species. The plants have hermaphrodite flowers.

The grape is characterized by black berries and is classified as a mid-late variety. The variety shows resistance to downy mildew due to the presence of specific loci Ren3, Ren9, Rpv3.1, and Rpv12, but is susceptible to powdery mildew. The vine frost resistance is down to -24 °C.
