Variety description

The variety is a complex interspecific hybrid, the pedigree of which includes Riesling, Seyve-Villard 12-481, Ruländer, and Gutedel. The plant is medium-vigorous with vertical shoot growth and moderate lateral shoot formation.

Bunches are medium-sized, dense, and cylindrical in shape. Berries are medium-sized, white or greenish-white, and may acquire an amber or pinkish tint. The berry skin has medium density.

The variety is characterized by high resistance to downy mildew and powdery mildew, although in rainy periods the bunches are prone to gray mold infection. Frost resistance reaches -25°C; the variety is resistant to spring frosts.

Wines from this variety possess a fruity aroma with notes of apple, citrus, pear, quince, and floral undertones. The variety is suitable for creating still and sparkling wines and is capable of accumulating up to 22 Brix of sugar.
