The variety is mid-early and ripens earlier than Riesling, which reduces the risk of damage from late frosts. The vine has high vigor and is capable of producing stable yields. The variety is characterized by susceptibility to fungal diseases.

The clusters of the variety are small or medium, dense, and cylindrical-conical in shape. The berries are medium, round, light green in color with a golden hue and dark specks. Wines from this variety are distinguished by a light, fresh taste with subtle acidity and notes of fruit, herbs, and minerals.
