The variety was obtained by crossing Bican and Muscat Hamburg. The vines possess high vigor and require training and long pruning. Hermaphrodite flowers ensure quality pollination, which minimizes the risk of berry shot. The variety has medium resistance to diseases.
Clusters have an average weight of 600–1000 g; they are cylindro-conical, often loose and branched. Berries are large, oval or egg-shaped, and covered with thick bloom. The flesh is fleshy, and the sugar content is 16–20%.
The variety is a table grape, valued for its appearance, taste qualities, and transportability. It is used in winemaking as an aromatic component and for the production of Pisco. The B. index indicates the white color of the berries.
