The variety forms a bush of large sagittate dark green leaves with light speckles. The flower consists of a spadix and a pink-crimson spathe measuring 6.5–9 cm in length and 5.5–6 cm in diameter. A distinctive feature is the presence of a dark, almost black pigment at the base of the flower.

The plant reaches a height of 40 to 60 cm. When planted in spring, flowering lasts 4–6 weeks during the period from July to August. In cut flower form, inflorescences maintain their ornamental quality for up to 12 days. The cultivation period is 8–10 weeks.

The variety is thermophilic and does not tolerate frost, so tubers require digging for the winter. It prefers sunny areas or partial shade with fertile, moist, and well-drained soil. The plant possesses resistance to diseases and pests.
