The Havana variety belongs to the group of colored calla lilies. The flowers are funnel-shaped and bright orange in color. The plant reaches a height of 30 to 60 cm, is pollen-free, and has a low scent level. The growing period is approximately 10–11 weeks.

The plant is intended for cultivation in pots, containers, balcony boxes, and open field. It is thermophilic, belongs to USDA hardiness zones 8–10, and requires tuber excavation for the winter in cold climates. Zantedeschia is sensitive to excessive soil moisture and is poisonous if ingested.
