Variety description

10 August 2026

The hybrid was created by crossing two European flint-type lines with the American dent-type line W182E. It belongs to the group of early-maturing hybrids intended for both grain production and silage production.

For decades, the hybrid has been used as a reference sample in studies of grain chemical composition, silage mass digestibility, and physiological research. It is susceptible to damage by the European corn borer, in particular to the species Sesamia nonagrioides.
