The hybrid belongs to the FAO 390 maturity group. The plant is tall, with a strong stalk and high ear placement. A distinctive feature is the waxy grain type, containing almost 100% amylopectin, which makes it in demand in the processing industry for starch production.
The hybrid possesses high resistance to stalk and root lodging, as well as to diseases: smut, rots, Helminthosporium blight, and rust. High drought and heat tolerance are noted, as well as intensive grain moisture loss.
The plant is responsive to intensive cultivation technologies and is suitable for use with minimum tillage. Cultivation in monoculture is not recommended. The grain is used for feed purposes, as well as in the food, paper, textile, and medical industries.
