The line belongs to the Iodent germplasm group and is considered a significant breeding material for the development of modern maize hybrids. It is characterized by high genetic stability, the indicator of which reaches 98%.
During the creation of the line, selection was carried out based on yield, stalk and root system quality, resistance to diseases and European corn borer damage, as well as the ability to form reproductive organs. After the expiration of patent protection, the line became publicly available for breeding purposes.
