The line was obtained through self-pollination and selection over seven generations from the hybrid LH59 × LH123Ht. By morphological traits, it is a yellow dent corn, most similar to the LH59 line, but differing from it by an increased ear length.
A key advantage of the line is improved resistance to stalk breakage during the summer period, which distinguishes it from the original parent forms. Selection was carried out based on yield indicators, root quality, disease resistance, and pollen shedding ability.
