Variety description

The plant has a medium-high height and strongly arched leaves. The ears are cylindro-conical in shape, 24 to 28 cm long, and contain 12 to 16 rows of kernels. The grain is characterized by its small size, semi-vitreous structure, and orange color.

The variety possesses good protandry and is adapted to various growing conditions. Flour from this grain has a sweetish taste and is traditionally used for making polenta and the national product miasse.
