The hybrid belongs to the plant type with an erectoid leaf arrangement, possesses a powerful root system and a strong stalk resistant to lodging. The dent-type grain contains 72–73% starch, the ear has a barrel shape and a thin cob.
The plant possesses high tolerance to root and stalk rots, as well as to common smut. The hybrid is adapted to arid conditions, suitable for cultivation in monoculture and minimum tillage, recommended for the Forest-Steppe and Steppe zones.
