To create rose borders, cultivars from the floribunda, patio, and groundcover groups are selected based on their compact, well-branching habit with a height of up to 60–70 cm. When planting, the bushes are spaced at intervals of 30–50 cm, maintaining a density of 5–6 bushes per m². An essential condition for maintaining aesthetic appeal is ensuring uniform lighting, as shading leads to bareness in the lower part of the bushes.

The planting technique includes the mandatory burial of the root collar by 3–5 cm, which prevents the freezing of the grafted material. Border shaping is achieved by pruning shoots back by 1/3 in the spring to stimulate bushiness and by regularly removing faded inflorescences. When selecting a planting site, it is necessary to avoid areas where members of the Rosaceae family have previously grown to prevent soil exhaustion.
