To create an attractive floral carpet, Diascia is planted with a spacing of 15–20 cm, allowing the stems to interlock. Maintaining the decorative quality of the border involves deadheading faded inflorescences to stimulate further blooming. If the plant becomes overgrown or shows reduced vigor during hot periods, pruning the stems back by 5–7 cm is practiced to encourage the growth of new shoots.
