Such plants terminate their growth after the formation of 2–8 inflorescences, which ensures a concentrated fruiting period that manages to complete before the onset of unfavorable autumn conditions.

Unlike greenhouse conditions, pruning and staking processes are less intensive here, yet the irrigation regime is critical for preventing physiological fruit cracking.
