Raspberry productivity is a complex trait composed of the number of fruiting canes, the number of laterals, the number of berries on them, and the average fruit weight.

To assess raspberry productivity, indicators such as yield per bush, per unit area, or per linear meter of row are used. For commercial cultivars, a yield of 2–5 kg per bush is considered good, while average values in variety trials range from 3–6 t/ha to 12–15 t/ha, reaching 20–26 t/ha under intensive cultivation.
Realization of yield potential depends on water availability during critical growth stages, planting density, and light exposure. Bush productivity increases over time, peaking in the third year and remaining stable up to eight years of age; for primocane (everbearing) varieties, it is directly related to the pruning system and cane maturation timing.
