In the agronomy of Lavandula angustifolia, a deficit irrigation strategy is used, which allows for reduced irrigation rates with minimal biomass loss. At the same time, full drought tolerance is manifested only after the rooting period, and excessive moisture in heavy soils can lead to root system damage, negating the plant's adaptive capabilities.
