Variety description

The variety forms neat, dense clumps of semi-evergreen or evergreen dark green leaves. The flower stalks are sturdy and erect, bearing large spherical inflorescences consisting of numerous violet-blue flowers. The flowering period lasts from July to September and can continue for three weeks longer than that of traditional varieties.
The plant is drought-tolerant once established. In regions with cold climates, cultivation in the open field requires covering or digging up for the winter and storage in a cool room. The variety is intended for decorative landscaping, use in containers and patio pots, as well as a crop for cut flowers.
