The variety is an evergreen perennial that forms dense clumps. The plant is classified as semi-dwarf: foliage height is 30–40 cm, and sturdy flowering stems reach 70–90 cm. The narrow leaves range in color from yellow-green to medium-green and have a horizontal orientation.
