The plant is a bushy perennial 45–60 cm in height with upright stems and dense foliage. The bright green leaves are ovate or lanceolate and emit an aroma with notes of mint and anise.

The inflorescences are narrow and dense, consisting of tubular two-lipped flowers of a violet-blue shade. The dark calyces of the flowers retain their ornamental value even after the corollas have fallen, visually extending the flowering period. The variety prefers sunny areas with well-drained soils and possesses high heat tolerance.
