The plant is a low-growing bushy perennial about 30 cm in height with a dense bush habit. The foliage is dark green and aromatic. The flowers are of a purple-blue shade, gathered in large, dense spike-like inflorescences.

The variety possesses high growth energy and resistance to lodging. It is characterized by drought tolerance after rooting and winter hardiness in USDA zones 5–10. The plant prefers sunny areas and well-drained fertile soils, which are critical for overwintering.
