The variety possesses pronounced disease resistance, good heat tolerance, and early spring regrowth. The plants are characterized by high shoot density, and a wide growth habit and narrow leaf blade are noted in the year of sowing. The variety is tetraploid.
The plant is used to create high-level surfaces, including greens, tees, and fairways on golf courses. It is also suitable for repairing damaged areas (divots). In NTEP documentation, the variety is registered under the breeding number PST-ROPS.
