The variety is intended for use as turf cover on sports facilities, including golf courses (greens, tees, fairways). It possesses a fine leaf texture and forms a dense, uniform stand suitable for regular low mowing.
The plant possesses resistance to a number of diseases typical for golf courses. The variety is capable of germinating in low temperature conditions around 7–10°C, which allows it to be used for restoration work in the spring period.
