The variety Aristo is registered in European catalogs as a shallot, but detailed morphological descriptions of this variety are not publicly available.

The variety «Березовский аристократ» is mid-season and multi-bulbous, forming from 5 to 20 bulbs in one cluster. The bulbs have a broadly elliptical shape, dark yellow with a brownish tint color of dry scales and white succulent scales; their average weight is about 60 g.

This variety has a high yield of up to 1.6 kg/sq. m and a semi-sharp taste. It is characterized by high winter hardiness, withstanding frosts down to -20°C, and long keeping quality of the produce. It is recommended for cultivation as a biennial crop; winter planting is possible.
