The variety is mid-season, with a growing period of 90–100 days. The plant reaches a height of 30–60 cm and forms multi-bulb clusters of 3–7 or more bulbs. The bulbs have a round or oval-round shape with golden-yellow or golden-brown dry scales; the inner scales are white or pinkish-white.

The taste of the bulbs is mild, delicate, semi-sharp or sweetish. The variety is characterized by high keeping quality of up to 7 months, resistance to bolting, and winter hardiness. It shows resistance to a number of diseases, but has moderate resistance to onion yellow dwarf virus.
