The variety was obtained as a result of intervarietal crossing of the gray shallot Griselle and the pink shallot of the Jersey type. Plants undergo a process of sanitization from Onion yellow dwarf virus (OYDV). Propagation is carried out vegetatively.

The bulbs have a copper-gray color of the dry scales and violet-pink flesh. The variety is suitable for both spring and autumn planting.
