The variety forms flat-round bulbs weighing 40–70 grams. The dry scales vary in color from pink-yellow to pink-brown. On average, about 5 bulbs are formed in one nest; the variety has a pungent taste with a high content of dry matter and sugars.

The plant belongs to mid-early varieties and has good resistance to downy mildew. The onion is valued for its excellent ability for long-term storage. The crop is propagated mainly by vegetative means, although seed propagation practices also exist for this variety.
