The variety belongs to the group of very early short-day or intermediate-day onions. The medium-developed plant forms small round, sometimes slightly flattened bulbs with bright white scales and flesh.
It is characterized by moderate resistance to temperature fluctuations and medium keeping quality. The variety is traditionally used for preparing salads and for whole pickling as 'baby onion'.
