Red River is a hybrid characterized as a mid-season or mid-late variety of the intermediate maturity type. The bulbs have a regular round shape and are distinguished by high density and large size, classified as "jumbo". The color of the outer scales is rich, dark red.
The plant has a strong root system, which ensures resistance to lodging, as well as high resistance to bolting. The variety demonstrates good tolerance to pink root rot and Fusarium. The bulbs are suitable for storage for 3–5 months.
The variety is adapted for cultivation in intermediate day length conditions and is intended for sale on the fresh market.
