The variety is mid-season, with a maturation period of approximately 90 days from the moment of transplanting. The plant features vigorous growth and a thin neck. The bulbs have a regular, uniform, round shape with deep dark-red dry scales; the flesh is white with dark-red rings.

The onion is characterized by pronounced pungency and good keeping quality in storage for up to 6 months. The variety shows high adaptability to hot growing conditions. It possesses tolerance to pink root rot and purple blotch. The yield is 22–25 tons per acre.
