RED VELVET F1 is a mid-season red onion hybrid designed for short-day conditions. The plant is characterized by vigorous growth and an upright habit, which simplifies the harvesting process.
The bulbs are large in size with intense red coloration; the shape of the produce is conical or conical-round. The variety has high resistance to premature bolting.
The hybrid is suitable for cultivation for dry bulb production, as well as for marketing as bunching onions with greens.
