The period from emergence to technical maturity ranges from 100 to 130 days. The bulbs are flat-round in shape and weigh 80–120 grams. The outer dry scales are dark red, while the inner succulent scales are white, sometimes with pink or red tints. The average plant height is about 30 cm.
The variety possesses a semi-sharp, delicate taste with sweetish notes and juicy flesh. The crop is characterized by resistance to diseases and stress, and is capable of tolerating frosts. Cultivation is possible as an annual crop via direct seeding or transplanting, as well as from sets in fertile, drained soils.
