The plant has a pseudo-stem of medium length and green leaves with a moderately upright habit, reaching 40–60 cm in length. The medium-sized bulbs are characterized by a rhomboid shape with a pointed apex and a rounded base.
The dry scales adhere tightly to the bulb and have a wine-red color with yellowish shades. The flesh is white with reddish edges; the tendency to produce offsets is weak.
The variety is cultivated under conditions of no artificial irrigation and can be grown on clay soils. Harvesting is carried out from the beginning of June to the end of July.
