The plant forms a vigorous, upright dark green leaf apparatus reaching a height of 50 cm. The bulbs are round or flat-round in shape with firm scales, and their weight ranges from 90–110 to 250 g. The variety is intended for fresh consumption, culinary use, and harvesting young greens in the spring.
The variety is resistant to Fusarium and downy mildew. When grown as a winter crop, marketable produce matures in late May or June. The storage life of the bulbs is estimated to be medium, up to 5–6 months. Economic characteristics depend on the region and agrotechnical conditions.
