The Zambezi F1 hybrid belongs to mid-late varieties with a vegetation period of 116 to 123 days. The plant forms large round bulbs weighing 250–300 grams and measuring 60–80 mm. The outer scales have a rich dark bronze color, fit tightly, and the neck is thin.
The variety possesses high resistance to Fusarium and pink root rot. The bulbs are distinguished by uniformity in shape and size, have a pungent taste, and are suitable for mechanical harvesting. The hybrid is intended for sale fresh, processing, and long-term storage for a period of up to 8 months.
