The variety belongs to the Blauwgroene Herfst (blue-green autumn) group and is distinguished by dark green leaf color. The plant forms a medium-length pseudo-stem, with a tendency toward bulb formation.

The variety is widely used in scientific studies on seed pre-sowing treatment methods, such as osmopriming, to increase germination and seedling resistance to stress factors, including high temperatures.
