The plant has an erect leaf position, medium or dark green in color with medium intensity waxy bloom. Anthocyanin coloration at the base of the false stem is weak or absent.
The bulbs are round in shape and medium or large in size. The dry scales are colored brown with anthocyanin stripes, and the clove flesh has a yellowish tint. The taste is characterized as medium-sharp.
The variety forms a flower stalk with bulbils. It possesses increased resistance to rust and lower susceptibility to leaf diseases compared to a number of other varieties.
