The variety is winter-hardy and does not form flower stalks. Harvesting takes place at the end of June or in July. The bulbs are of medium size, firm, and regular in shape, containing 8 to 12 large cloves covered by a white or light pink skin.
The taste is described as aromatic with a medium degree of pungency. The variety is suitable for fresh consumption and cooking and possesses a good ability to be stored until the end of the calendar year.
The plant is adapted to Slovenian climatic conditions, but shows susceptibility to viral diseases. Work is underway to improve seed material using in vitro tissue culture methods.
