The variety belongs to the amateur category and is intended primarily for home garden cultivation. It is well-adapted to local climatic conditions and is suitable for harvesting from autumn planting.

The plant has dark green leaves of medium width, which are directed vertically. The pseudostem has a medium width and is characterized by weak red coloration. The variety is also known under the names Štrigon, Stroligo rosso and Štrigun crveni.
