The variety is the result of breeding based on the local Thüringer Landsorte population. It belongs to the type of plants with a soft stem that do not produce a flower stalk. The bulbs are white with a slight light-brown pattern and contain from 11 to 15 cloves with a pinkish-hued tunic.

The plant possesses complex tolerance to Poty-, Allexi-, and Carlavirus groups, as well as resistance to the garlic mite and leaf miners. The taste is characterized as moderately pungent and rounded; the variety maintains quality in storage until March.

The variety is intended for autumn planting, carried out in the period from late September to mid-October. To obtain a high-quality yield, it is recommended to use large cloves wider than 1 cm for planting, and to dry the whole plants in the shade after harvesting.
