The variety was created for the needs of organic farming. The main advantage is a pronounced celery taste, which is described as more intense and distinct compared to other varieties. Due to its specific chemical composition, the variety is of interest as a source of aromatic substances.

The variety possesses high resistance to celery rust. It was considered one of the promising varieties in the breeding program along with the varieties Athos and Porthos.
