Tall Golden Self Blanching belongs to the self-blanching celery category. The plant is characterized by a yellowish-green color of the upper leaf blade surface and taller stalks, which, however, possess less strength compared to the original strain.
The variety is earlier in maturity. During growth, the stalks acquire the self-blanching property, due to which they gain a golden-yellow hue. The variety is considered traditional and is often used as a reference sample in comparative trials with modern hybrids.
