This variety is a representative of green celery, which does not belong to self-blanching types. During growth, the plant reaches a height of up to one meter and forms fleshy petioles. The product is characterized by a high content of water, fiber, and essential oils.

The variety belongs to historically established and widely distributed types in Europe, known by a number of synonyms, such as Giant Pascal, Groene Pascal, Gigante Pascal, and Verde de Pascua. It is intended for fresh consumption and contains vitamins B1 and B2, as well as mineral substances.
