Variety description

The plant belongs to the species Astilbe chinensis, although it is classified as Astilbe × arendsii in some catalogs. The bush is compact, reaching a height of about 60 cm.

The inflorescences are formed as dense panicles of a saturated violet or purple-magenta shade. The variety prefers partial shade areas with moist, humus-rich soils.

The plant is suitable for flower bed design, planting in containers, and is also used as a cut flower crop.
