Variety description

10 August 2026

The height of the plant with flower stalks reaches 75 cm. The foliage is dark green, pinnate; the young foliage has a silvery-green marbled shade. Flowering occurs in mid-to-late summer; the length of the dense paniculate inflorescences is 20–25 cm.

The variety possesses high winter hardiness, withstanding frosts down to –35°C (USDA zones 4–9), and is considered more drought-tolerant than other Astilbe species. The plant prefers moist, well-drained soils and can be affected by powdery mildew.

The plant is used in group plantings, for landscaping shaded areas and water features, and for container gardening. The inflorescences are suitable for cutting for fresh and dried bouquets.
