The Youandme Together variety is a perennial belonging to Astilbe × arendsii hybrids or the Astilbe chinensis group. The plant forms dense, intricate foliage that maintains its decorative qualities throughout the growing season.

Panicle inflorescences have saturated shades and reach a height of 45–60 cm. The flowering period occurs in July–August. The plant prefers moist, well-drained soils and is suitable for planting in shaded gardens, borders, and containers.
