The variety belongs to the mid-season maturity group. The plant has a semi-erect bush type and yellow glumes (lemmas). The lower leaves and the upper stem node are characterized by the absence or very weak pubescence. The flag leaf of this form is often geniculate.

The variety is a spring form of oats and is intended for cultivation for commercial grain for subsequent food or feed use.
