The Amono variety is a sugar beet and does not belong to forage crops. It was developed for the mechanization of the cultivation process, as its key feature became monogermy, eliminating the need for manual thinning of crops.
During many years of trials, the variety demonstrated specific sugar concentration levels, physical seed properties, and was also studied for resistance to diseases, such as powdery mildew Erysiphe betae.
